Sting Fast Pitch

ABOUT:

The Sting Girls Diamond Sports Club was established on Dec. 1, 2008. In its first season, the Sting consists of two teams at the 16 and 18 age levels. 30 girls are on the roster for the first season; the club will continue to grow and offer more diversity of ages and level of play.

In the past, Fred Flores, the founder of the Sting, assembled other organizations including the Fort Collins Explosion, Fort Collins Extreme that became The Fort Collins Girls Softball Club (The Fort Collins Stars). His goals are to keep the cost of participation to a minimum, compete at the highest levels, and provide knowledge and fun for his girls.

Fred is the creator of the Northern Colorado League for competitive teams, serves on the State Board of Softball Coaches, and is on the USSSA board. As a coach, Fred has kept his girls at the highest rankings in the state of Colorado for many years.
